Launch
- This phase guides a practice through implementation of its POL. It addresses the following:
- Space Improvements – completing space improvements based on the Space Plan completed in the Planning phase;
- Equipment – install equipment based on space plan as well as equipment specifications, and conduct equipment validation;
- Reagents and Consumables – stocking the reagents and consumables required to operate POL;
- IT – integrating a practice’s EMR and/or billing system with DCL’s laboratory information system;
- and Training – conducting training for all personnel involved with maintenance and operation of a POL.
